Hamina Theater

Hamina Theater is managed by Haminan Teatteriyhdistys ry. Its purpose is to promote the theater hobby in the area of Hamina and its surrounding municipalities.

Hamina Theater (Isoympyräkatu 30)

One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest is a classic in which misfit petty criminal Randle P. McMurphy is sent to a mental institution for diagnosis. The play is only spoken in Finnish!

Based on the novel One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest by Ken Kesey Stage adaptation by Dale Wasserman.

In the summer of 2024, Hamina Summer Theater will be in the holiday mood. The classic comedy Loma (engl. Holiday) is based on Risto Jarva’s super popular film from the 70s, based on which it has been adapted for the stage by Ola Tuominen. The sunny show takes you on a crazy party trip in the spirit of the 70s with summer music. The play is only spoken in Finnish!
